Tania Paola, dancer and choreographer, visits "Dare-dare," regarding her latest creation "Kyriadie". This performance, accompanied by musician Olivier Courier, from the group Aaron, combines dance and theater. The guest is at the microphone of Laurence Froidevaux.

A creation of theatrical dance from the writings of William Blake, "Kyriadie" plunges us into the mystical world of death. Not the death that is dark, cold and frightening, but one that intrigues, attracts and intoxicates. Tania De Paola, choreographer of this performance, is our guest this evening at "Radio Paradiso".

In the journey of exploration of this mystery, the choreography is surrounded by words, by "moving images",by acrobatics on climbing rope, and lively musicians. The path is traced for them by the music of Olivier Courier of the french group AaRON.

The Tania Paola Dance Company was founded in Lausanne in 1999 with her first show "In the Garden of the Big Lady" at the Théâtre de Vidy, "The Seven Deadly Sins" and "Salad of Women".

Tania De Paola received her dance training at the Rosella Hightower Center for Dance in Cannes, then at Alvin Ailey in New York. In parallel to her work as a dancer in different companies, she created several solos, as well as duos. She is also part of the Master Class at the Paris Conservatory and assists Oscar Araiz at the Grand Theatre in Geneva.

"The Bathroom" by the Tania de Paola Dance Company

The choreographer Tania Paola visits Dare-dare regarding "The Bathroom", taken from the book by Jean-Philippe Toussaint, for which she claims the concept, choreography and set design. To see until 28 June 2009 under the marquee of the Théâtre de Vidy-Lausanne.
